UPLAND INTRODUCTION PROGRAM
ONE MONTH BOARD AND TRAIN FOR BRITTANYS
Initial visit will include a field evaluation and outline of training goals. Dog will receive daily care, feeding, exercise. Obedience and field work five days a week. Owner will be updated weekly. At pick up all training commands will be reviewed and field demonstration of bird work including shooting birds will be provided. Offered March-June, pups must be at least 7 months old.
BASIC $1600
Program for young dogs going into their first hunting season or any dog who has not hunted before. 20 birds included.
Introduction to birds and gunfire.
Steadiness on point, retrieving birds.
Establishing search, range and recall.
E-collar, beep for recall, stimulation for whoa, and vibrate for release. This gives you stop, go, and come, communication with your dog in the field.
Leash and door/gate manners.
