PUPPY POLICY
When selecting a Brittany puppy from Sunburst we encourage you to visit our kennel. We are located on the Payette River in New Plymouth Idaho, 50 miles northwest of Boise Idaho.
Brittany puppies are $1600 for males, $1800 for females. Limited AKC registration provided. If you plan on breeding full AKC registration is available for an additional $1000. Puppies have tails docked, and dew claws removed.
A $300 deposit is required to secure a puppy. The deposit is nonrefundable but never expires; so you may wait for color, sex, parents, or timing as preferred. We will notify you when we have a pup available for you. Once pups are 4 weeks old visits are welcome.
Pups are weaned and eating dry Purina Pro Plan Performance 30/20 by 6 weeks old, and the first vaccine is given (NOBIVAC CANINE 1-DAPPv).
7 weeks old is when puppies go home with you! Please schedule pick up as close to 7 weeks as possible. If you need us to keep your pup past 8 weeks old we will charge a boarding fee.
We have flown pups as far as Alaska and New York, and have never experienced any issues. Airline regulations require pup to be 8 weeks old to fly.
Your Brittany puppy will be socialized, and healthy to the best of our knowledge. If there is a health issue, depending on the situation, we may replace the dog, or you may return the dog. Once ownership is transferred, we do not pay vet bills. We do our upmost to keep healthy conditions for our dogs, however life in the country includes environmental conditions beyond our control. Feedback can be helpful to us, and we are happy to provide any advice that may be helpful to you. Please contact Katie with health, or training/behavioral questions. Our dogs, parents and grandparents, have been free of hip dysplasia. Hip guarantee though 27 months of age, void if spayed or neutered.
Our Brittanys enjoy hunting, hiking, swimming and companionship with us. Our purpose is to share Brittanys with those looking for a great hunting dog, with an optimistic and entertaining personality!
